If I'm not mistaken, the two airbusses were taken over from Aeromexico (because they are one of the youngest in the SN Fleet) thus I think it was more logical to paint them/have them in maintenance at MIA before flying over to BRU.

And... the first livery of the "B" on the tail had 13 dots, wich is considered as bad luck is some countries. Therefore they added one ;-)
But, what are they doing in MIA?

These two birds formerly flew for Mexicana, but have been repainted and are awaiting delivery to Brussels Airlines.

Why do the Brussels 319s rest in the US???
