VH-TFX (cn 31-8152143) Ditched here, around 2 miles from Runway 29 the day before after an engine lost power. All 6 people on board walked away. Aircraft landed in tact, tail separted by high seas overnight. Creating a bit of interest for the locals!

I totally agree with the visitor from Germany! That Piper could have been saved just by the passengers pushing it!

A ex-collegue of mine was on the plane. The passengers and pilot had all doned life-jackets. As the first person jumped into the water, they realised that it was in fact low-tide, the water being about waist-deep!
