12959 (cn 15196/26641) CC-129 NASARR Dakota 12959 "Pinocchio" of the Canadian Armed Forces, Cold Lake AFB. Several air forces, including the Belgian, German and Canadian had some Dakotas modified to train future Starfighter pilots on the North American Search and Ranging Radar, which was housed in the pointed nose. Sister ships to Pinocchio in Canadian service were "Dolly's Folly" (12938) and "Woody Woodpecker" (unknown reg).
