Nice pic. What is the pilot doing on the top of the aircraft? Was he in a hurry to get out?

Evacuation procedure calls for F/O to vacate the aircraft through the hatch and assemble pax, while the captain shuts down. Pilot door is usually blocked by exiting pax and F/A.
