The backround of blues skies and the white and color of the aircraft stand out.

For memory value alone this rates a 5 star. My first airplane ride was on a Capital DC-4 from ORD to Muskegon, Michigan in 1957. Might have even been this very airplane!

I've always been a fan of the Douglas airliners, mainly DC-3 and DC-4. This is a great shot. I'd never seen a DC-4 with square windows before.
