For Comment#34, Thanks for your comment on our group picture. Although we recorded some incident picture in this database but all were captured by chance! and reflected as true part of aviation which can't get excluded. Unfortunately(or maybe fortunately) our team has no any picture regarding the F5 crash. Be sure we do not hesitate in uploading any picture that has an aviation value, a nice inflight capture or a crash. And Regarding to Iranian official I'd like to add they say US sanctions has not any reflection on our safety but when a crash happens they say it's Yankee's FAULT cause they put us under sanction!!!!

A visitor from United States posted Fri July 17, 2009:
Westerners saw lots of beautiful artworks from Iranian Spotters last year, But I want to thank you Persian Gulf members for showing some shots from real face of Iran aviation. Now we can see how many crashes occur in Iran and hope to Iranian officials won't tell medias that U.S sanctions has not any reflection on Iran aviation industries.

P.S: Haven't you or your group members any photo from recently F-5 crash in IRIAF's maneuver?

RIP , It's really strange how you sent this shot almost 7 days ago and now it was accepted in a.net exactly when this plane crashed!!!! another sad and portent shot by your team(persian gulf)!! I remember a 154M crash at mashhad, an Iran Air f-100 crash at Tehran, a failed landing gear of iriaf 707 and now ...... sorry

A visitor from Iran, Islamic Republic Of posted Thu July 16, 2009:
Head of Iranian Airports Co said IRIB Channel 2 yesterday that EP-CPG was in normal operation at 34000 feet. Only 3 minutes before the crash it turned 270 degrees from it's usual route and went to 14000 feet in just 90 seconds. Iranian Officials tried to speak to the pilot about this rotation, but their attempts failed. They asked two other airplanes from Iran Air and Aseman Airlines that were near the EP-CPG to talk with the pilot, but there was no response.
One of the Mahan Air pilots said Iranian TV that this accident may be because of loss of control instruments.
