Staring contest: SQ vs. CX, nice! However, I really feel that the CX A330 should've given way to the two SQ 747s, since it is their home base!

I wouldn't be staring at others on the taxiway while having my wheels tilted at that angle with an A330...the staring game might take long enough for the plane to wander off to the grass!!

Grate shot guys!
A visitor from United Arab Emirates posted Mon May 11, 2009:
Shows the side of aviation we sometimes forget, that is these are vehicles with people in them, all trying to get to a certain place at the same time, but to catch it on camera is awesome! BTW whoever reaches the intersection first gets through: I saw a BA 777 hold for a gulfstream at AUH

There is something about this shot that demonstrates the huge size of the 747's. And the red line and position of the A330 is perfect. Great composition. Well done.

What really caught my attention about this shot is the stare down between the CP and the SA pilots. And who's in the audience? SA's twin sister. Totally awesome! Normally, the bigger guys get the pass but not in this case; even they have to wait their turn. You also managed to catch the noses just perfectly - looks as if the B747 is kissing the A330 on the right cheek! Great shot!
A visitor from United States posted Wed November 21, 2007:
A visitor from Mauritius posted Thu November 1, 2007:
Ha ha, amazing, lol. two 747's had to wait for the smaller A330 to pass. Now thats what i call authority.
