Sad! That it is. I believe this is VR-HOV/B-HOV (25082) which served for about 22 years and has been stored here since March 2013. Another Queen of the Skies is gone!

Seeing any aircraft being scrapped, even more so a 744, makes me quite sad. No doubt by the time I am in a position to be able to fly one of these beauties they will all have ended up like this.

Truly a very poignant photo. It's incredible that this beauty traversed virtually the entire globe during her career (and how many times over), and was jet-setting as late as last year. Thanks for sharing this emotional piece of work.
