Kai Tak Traffic Rush Hour. You can see Rwy 13 was fully utilized by aircraft, which is under control of a senior controller. Note Dragonair A330 just Climb out from Rwy 13 and China Southwest Airlines B737 rolling into Rwy 13 while Cathay Pacific Airways B777 on final approach Rwy 13. Note also Thai Airways B747 just arrived and taxiing toward the apron. This is an often and common scene in Kai Tak. It reflected a fast living style of Hong Konger. Could you imagine if the timing go wrong what will happen?

Great resolution on a photo that reflected Kai Taks ATC to run the 3rd busiest passenger and 2nd busiest cargo airport in the world at the same time. The most impressive factor in this feet is that Kai Tak has only one runway. Other busy airports (Chicago's O'hare, Heathrow, Singapore, Bangkok etc have multiple runways)

Isn't the China Southwest 737 in a hurry for takeoff with the CX 777 so close behind? And the Dragonair A330 barely lifted off. What a mad rush...
