TF-GMG / N4371B/921 (cn 26715) Taken close to the current eruption in southern Iceland, where molten lava has been coming up for a week. This is taken from CAP-10, TF-UFO through the plastic with a 28-70mm lens, as the closeness of the canopy does not allow a bigger lens. The lava fortunately came up between two glaciers, otherwise a major flood of melting glacier might have caused casualties and property damage. The eruption is at an altitude of 1100 meters and the temperature at the time of the photo was -15 degrees Centigrade. This has been a very big tourist attraction and many people have walked for over 5 hours from the south to the site and then back for another 5 hours. It took us 20 minutes from the airfield at Mosfellsbær.
