Crisp, clean and sharp. Beautiful location...

A float plane has its romantic appeal, but there's gotta be a better way to do this (the pontoons causing drag, killing speed and wasting fuel in-flight).

Excellent...but who cropped out the water skier!

Now, that's a great picture ! I love the reflection in the water and the way the water is shining so bright right beneath the plane.

Just a beautiful shot of the aircraft. Love the fall colors and crisp clarity of the image. The water almost doesn't look real it's so smooth.

Wonderful photo. By the way, what is the cable in the back for?

Good panning shot. this type of shot takes a bit of pratice as you have to watch any vertical movement of the camera which could lead to an out of focus shot.

The best picture that I have seen in quite some time. The cable on the tail is to discharge static elctricity.

Not a bad looking plane for one that used to be upside down at the bottom of Twin Lakes!

It's all in the panned motion blur, prop blur, spray blur... and lighting. The foreground reflection is key. I wish there were a little more space below the reflection and that white wing weren't poking out of the subject cowling; marvelous nonetheless. Successful panning (at least without a gyrostabilizer), in my experience, is difficult. I've not heard of "Clark Lake" and the background doesn't look like "Lake Clark", but it sure looks like Campbell Lake, just down the street from where I live in south Anchorage.
