I wonder how much of the cargo the pilot managed to "rescue" while the adrenaline rush lasted. Tricky job sir...you got lucky this time. Good shot.
It be one of those new fangle boat planes.
The damage looks like the plane was ditched gear-up and hit tail-first. Note the direction the elevator is bent. Then it belly-flopped and that's why the engine is bent downward on the mount. Possible the ditching was offshore and the plane floated to the beach. 210s are expensive to insure, they are a big theft magnet for smugglers.
CIA probably, drugdealers don't really care much for secrecy. Great picture btw!
Drugs under the seat maybe?
Smells like drugs... | |
Africa way! :-) | |
Hmmm, the pilot must also have some skill to be able to perform a landing like that
This plane was carrying elligal rabbits!
My money is on a drug-smuggling flight gone wrong.
Hmmm, a pressurized Centurion is a good aircraft to carry respectable amounts of freight over long distances at high altitude and is able to take off from improvised strips.
Now if that wasn't a drug courier. The airplane is idially suited for the job if it wasn't for the single engine.
No registration is as dumb as it gets. No registration is more suspicious than a fake one ... and in the end it should be fairly easy to obtain more details on this bird from the cn plate or some part numbers.
Was the pilot seen barefoot as he ran away?! =) Nice pic
Mysterious photo. Can they find out the serial number of the airframe or something similar?
Hmmm? No registration! Odd. Narcos? CIA? Great photo nonetheless. Thanks for sharing!
