A fantastic shot of the most annoying aircraft in the world. That thing will split your ear drums, and I'm not kidding. Whenever they fired them up on the ramp with the rest of us, we would throw things at them as they taxied by. "Git outta here!" I can't believe that anyone would want to civilianize one of these ear splitting monstrosities. They should be sitting in pieces in the hangar of a mechanic's school somewhere. There ya go.

Great shot of an airplane I hated so much! It flew like an underpowered C-150. And the frustrated fighter-pilot-wanna-be instructors that flew with you in the T-37 didn't help either. Couldn't wait to get to the T-38! I loved every second in the T-38. - Brett

Finally, a private Tweet!!! I worked these birds for three years (Laughlin and Columbus) what great airplanes. Simple and well built. What is the little doo-hickey on the nose? Camera perhaps?

Terrific light: low sun, raking from right to left shows great detail. I also like the way the pilot is looking straight into the camera while the right seater is looking off to his right: what's over there?
