 A visitor from - posted Sat March 12, 2011:Amazing to see that J-6`s still fly in China! These fighters had a long service with the Pakistan Air Force as the F-6, spanning almost 36 years!They also scored victories against indian fighters in the 1971 war. The FT-6`s (trainer version of F-6) still remians in PAF service, training pilots for the limited number of A-5 (Q-5) bombers that still fly out of Peshawar air base. Hats off to the skilled engineers and technicans who`ve kept these old fighters flying even after such a long time!...the few aging A-5`s would be replaced by jf-17`s by 2015! | |
