About Mig 15's not being used in Vietnam, that's correct, they showed up in Korea in the early 50's, and were obsolete by the mid 60's.

Does the Chinese AF still have operational Mig-15s? Retro! Love the An-24 peering over their shoulders. Wonder if they might be interested in making a bit of cash by selling a few?

Really interesting picture.I am intrigued by the 5th aircraft from the left - taller tail with different sweep, but with the same nose. Also, the black subjects in front of aircraft (are these rockets standing up on their tails?), and an all-red nose (#2 from the left).

I do not belive MiG-15s were used in Vietnam. I think North Vietnam used a mixture of MiG-17s, 19s, and 21s. MiG-15s were used in the Korean War(!) in the early 1950s, though these appear to be two-seat trainers.

A real historic picture. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think those were used during the vietnam war. Of course they had little chance against the F-4 "Phantoms".

That's a lot of "Fagots." :-)

That's quite a line-up. I like the aircraft peeking through the trees to the right.

With that Antonov over them, looks like a father watching over his little children. I never have seen many MiGs as in this photo.

A legendary aircraft IMHO

Wow, that's a really unique photo. I've never seen a two seater version of the MIG 15 before

Funny, I've just returned from a library after 3hr research on their times of glory with Sabres and later F4's. Marvelous a plane it was. Sic transit gloria mundi.
