Remark Photographer
B-18255 (cn 21843/386) Very shocked to hear this plane crashed this afternoon. This plane was the last passenger B747-200 left in China's fleet. It performed Taipei to Hong Kong flight as CI 611 on 25/May departing at 1450 and disappeared from radar at 1530. It crashed somewhere north of Peng-Hu island. There were 203 passengers, 3 infants and 19 cabin crew on board. The plane had already been sold to Orient Thai for USD1.45 million but was still used for CI flights before delivery to Orient Thai. C check was performed on 2001-11-25.
