What's wrong with "Mig 21 style air intake"??? :-)
Seriously, from a strict aerodinamic point of view the conical spine shaped air intake is the best design for supersonic flight, at least with '50-60s design tools... check SR-71 for a confirm!

The problem with MIG-21 is about layout, with the single cone on the nose that makes very difficult to fit a decent radar (mainly for antenna dimensional limitations) in it...
A simple solution: cut the cone in two halves, and put them on both sides of the fuselage aft pilot's cockpit... and here we are, Mirage!

Technically...the photography is fine...maybe the overlapping of the 2 aircrafts can use a bit more contrast....but 'beautiful fighter'..and with those Mig 21 style air intake...I don't think so...
