What's wrong with "Mig 21 style air intake"??? :-) Seriously, from a strict aerodinamic point of view the conical spine shaped air intake is the best design for supersonic flight, at least with '50-60s design tools... check SR-71 for a confirm! The problem with MIG-21 is about layout, with the single cone on the nose that makes very difficult to fit a decent radar (mainly for antenna dimensional limitations) in it... A simple solution: cut the cone in two halves, and put them on both sides of the fuselage aft pilot's cockpit... and here we are, Mirage!
Check that off the list of things I was conufesd about.
Technically...the photography is fine...maybe the overlapping of the 2 aircrafts can use a bit more contrast....but 'beautiful fighter'..and with those Mig 21 style air intake...I don't think so...
Very beautiful fighter: thanks !!
