A94-354 (cn CA27-94) Phot taken at Chino in 1993 and this Sabre was a bit of a mystery to me. She wore no markings at all and had what appears to be a cannon installed in the nose which would mean that she is not a North American produced Sabre. Turns out she was a Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CA-27 Sabre Mk.32 which was operated by the RAAF. That cannon is an Aden 30mm cannon with one on each side of the nose, also she was powered by an Avon 26 turbojet. A rare bird! |
