N423RS (cn 1785) Absolutely stunning aircraft, built in San Diego in 1943 and served with the US Navy for her first 13 years. She was owned by Greenpeace for 4 years until May-2001 when she was purchased by Super Catalina Restoration. The livery is based on the Catalina flown by John Cruickshank VC of 210 Coastal Command Squadron 1944 (the engines still carry the Greenpeace blue).
