A visitor from United States posted Sun October 30, 2011:I think the new United should paint an airplane in this livery to commemorate the previous relationship between United and Continental. The aircraft pictured was configured on the inside just like a UAL DC-6B, and it was occasionally used as an equipment sub on United routes far away from the CO-UA interchange that operated TUL-ICT-DEN-SLC-BOI-PDX-SEA. I flew on it once, from MLI to ORD when it was used an extra section on a busy holiday weekend. | |
