Just one month after this picture was taken, this very aircraft would lose a titanium strip from the no. 3 engine's trust reverser during take-off at Paris CDG. Four minutes later, this strip would destroy a tire of AF's Concorde F-BTSC. The Concorde's tire exploded, caused a fuel leak and subsequent fire, and the plane went down shortly afterward. R.I.P.
This DC-10 was parked in the desert not much later.
