Cool to see another angle of SXM...

It doesn't look like taking off, but rather like landing, see the flaps configuration not being in take off config.

GREAT! 5 stars!

If the B747 was landing on that part of the runway, it would have a big, big problem. Flaps are set for a short field take-off!

5 stars for me on this one, just for two details. The angle is different from what we normally see, and because there is no heat distortion. Well done.

C'mon big girl get some air under that wing and fly! I would have loved to have been there to see that. Excellent pic.

Great example of how a crosswind takeoff should look. Excellent angle, would've love to have been there myself.

This is a take-off, but a little bit different to those from longer runways. The flaps configuration during the landing is much 'bigger'. :) This is a great shot!

Awesome shot!! Looks like a beast raising itself on it's side. I like the thrust - really powerful. In Montego Bay, JA we have a dust bed along the runway and to see a B747 engine go over it, it's a sight to behold! It's great!!

Flap 25 for take-off is close to 30 used for landing so hard to see the difference, it looks like the pilot didn`t give enough aileron into the wind though!

Flaps 25 is not certified for take-off on a 747-400...

Nice shot. Only Flaps 10 or 20 are used for takeoff on a B747-400.
