121 (cn 75021145) The MiG-21 - now in easy-to-assemble kit form! Like on virtually all 1st through 3rd generation single engine fighters, getting at the powerplant on the -21 meant disassembling half the aircraft. The heart of this system is a compact Tumansky R-25 turbojet, normally developing a reheated 69,6 kN of thrust, but with up to 97 kN available for short periods at low level. Right behind it is the reheat system, that - in combination with the variable propelling nozzle and intake - completes the powerplant.
