G-CCVH (cn 12881) Hawk H-75 No 82 of The Fighter Collection is airworthy warbird restored to identical appearance of WW2 aircraft. Curtiss served since 1939 with 1ére Escadrille (squadron) of Groupe de Chasse (fighter group) II/5 "Lafayette" at Toul-Cros-de-Metz. Featuring command stripes on its fuselage, the fighter was the personal mount of Commandant Murtin, CO of GC I/5 and GC II/5. After restoration at Chino flown first-time in October 2004 and to Duxford arrived in March 2005.
