VH-KTH / ZR-J (cn AK752 / 15133) This rear view shows Col Pay's first P-40 on static display at Richmond in 1991. She was SOC on 16Aug1946, at RCAF Stn Vulcan Alberta, Canada. She was bought, stripped and buried by a local farmer in 1953. Recovered by John R. Paul of Alamo Calif in 1975 and Reg N96045. Owned by him till 1987 (except in 1976- to Steve Seghetti of Vacaville Calif.) Col Pay bought her in 1987, restored in 1989 as VH-KTH. Col sold her on 01Sep94 to James M. Smith of Fortine MT USA, Reg as N440PE and flown as USAAC/AVG 15133. |
