Flogger 9814 was delivered to Czechoslovakia in 1983 and until his decomission in June 1994 operated only with 28. sbolp (fighter-bomber air regiment) in Caslav AFB. Note the tail section of doubleseat MiG-23U nr. 8327 on the right, which crashed in 29th November 1996 near Heralec. Crew of 41. slp (fighter air regiment) from Caslav - Maj. Mladek and Lt.Col. Trunecka - was killed in this fatal catastrophy.

Sad pic...
I feel really bad when I see such an nice aircraft on display in that condition.Pls,Czech Air Force,restore her,display her indoors,and make pride of your airforce history.Besides,I've a scale model of the Flogger,It's an a/c I've always liked.
