OK-70 (cn 02) The second built prototype XL-29 of the famous Czechoslovak jet trainer first flew in April 1959. This prototype differed from series built Dolphins in different canopy and complet tail section with installed British turbojet engine Bristol Siddeley ASV-8 Viper. Production models of the L-29 were subsequently powered by the Czechoslovak producted M-701 turbojet engine, first-time tested in July 1960. This XL-29 was in 1965 assigned to Military Academy at Brno and from there in May 1972 disposed to Kbely museum.
