Aviation Photo #0290207 Avia CS-199 Mezek - Czechoslovakia - Air Force

This is a CS-199, a two-seat training version of S-199, the Bf 109 G-12 Czech style. Czechoslovakia was forced to produce a lot of German aircraft during WWII. They continued to produce some German types after the war for the rebirth of the Czechoslovak Air Force. In fact a lot of well known Czech types were based on the war production! On display at the museum. Truly a "Alladins Cave" of treasures, but a photographers nightmare.
