Remark Photographer
C-GCTC (cn 103) C-GCTC on its absolutely final approach. The wind was blustery, and a sudden gust from the rear presented the pilot with a sudden drop in airspeed. He was already 'on the limit', making a dramatic steep STOL approach, and his luck ran out... Rate of descent can be judged from the blurred Rwy lights, showing how much I was having to tilt the camera to keep the aircraft in frame.
