G-ASKH / RR299/HT-E This was the last airworthy Mosquito. First flying in 1940 the Mossie was a very effective, fast all wooden aircraft and over 7000 were built. This aircraft crashed and was destroyed killing both crew at Barton, Manchester during an air display on 27th July 1996.

This was one of the War winning Arcraft. But for some reason. it does not get the credit its due.
Just 300 hundred of these in 1940, and we would have shot the Luftwaffe from the Skies..
