I have never understood people who suddenly don't want to fly a narrowbody just because a large pond is slipping by 10+km underneath. Really, I have flown AMS-EWR and back on 2 NWA 752's back in '08 and can tell you this: you are not gonna get more space or legroom or w/e if you fly seated 9 or 10 abreast in a 6.3 metres wide cabin with 2 isles (typical 777) rather than 6 abreast in a 3.6 metre wide cabin with 1 isle (typical 757). The 752 Tatl. is in fact a very efficient product, especially on those routes that don't justify larger capacity aircraft, reason they were/are used so by CO, NWA, DL, UA, US, AA, TWA. Simple truth.

Nice plane but flying from america to germany on a 757 wouldnt be a relaxing flight

Nice shot! But I hate to cross the Atlantic in a narrow-body. Done that before and for me it's a reason to chose another carrier even if I have to pay more.
