If you have been looking for a photograph of a true aviation workhorse then look no further. Superb ship

A visitor from United States posted Fri August 23, 2013:
Great picture - of hail damage. Sustained on approach. Had to replace the radome and one of the two center windshields. The paint has long since been repaired (removed, then resprayed).

A visitor from - posted Tue May 7, 2013:
Just found out this aircraft has been retired...apparently to Dothan, AL according to DLTERM

A visitor from Netherlands posted Wed January 9, 2013:
Yeah, just a badass workhorse...sure she's now neatly reapainted and carries the Delta negative space widget on the fin.

A visitor from Israel posted Mon December 12, 2011:
Dirty or clean, painted or not, the 757 is still the most graceful and noble plane ever made.

Like they always say, never judge someone by their looks

A visitor from - posted Tue September 13, 2011:
This bird has certainly been working hard since it was made in 1990.

A visitor from - posted Tue September 13, 2011:
She reminds me of the donna summer song "she works hard for the money"

A visitor from - posted Sat August 27, 2011:
Looks great after all she's been through!!!

A visitor from Australia posted Wed August 10, 2011:
What a great, hard working machine. Most always the scruffy ones & the ugly ducklings in the fleet go the best!!

A visitor from - posted Tue June 14, 2011:
She's still flying and in new colors now

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 13, 2011:
Looks quite awesome cause the severe damage on the paint

A visitor from Guatemala posted Tue May 17, 2011:
Gives her charactor though, that is for sure. Some airlines invest heavily in maintenance in sacrifice for looks.

A visitor from Canada posted Fri April 15, 2011:
Wow! She looks tired! This was taken in '04... I wonder if she's still in service? Then again, fresh coat of paint and she'd look good as new.

A visitor from - posted Fri April 15, 2011:
It really needs a good painting! Shame on Delta Airlines. And I can't bear Americans who criticize Air France without checking their own Airlines!

A visitor from - posted Tue August 10, 2010:
Omg love this hard working machine!!! DOES ANY BODY KNOW HOW OLD IS THE Boeing 757-232?

A visitor from - posted Fri July 30, 2010:

A visitor from - posted Sat June 12, 2010:
Paint isn't matter as long as good maintenance on aircraft happens. but i only gave 3 star because i want a nicer paint job.

A visitor from Sweden posted Sun June 6, 2010:
I can take it if someone don't want it

A visitor from United States posted Sun May 16, 2010:

A visitor from United States posted Thu April 29, 2010:
Pic brings out the 757's true beauty, even without makeup. delta?? At least she flies.

A visitor from - posted Sun April 25, 2010:
They must be waiting for the scheduled repaint in the new livery... logically you wouldn't repaint a plane in the old colour scheme just to make it look good... but i feel for that pooooor 757... shame on you delta!

A visitor from Mexico posted Tue March 30, 2010:
Her makeup is a little bit off, but i'd still beg her to go out with me! OM5

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 12, 2006:

A visitor from United States posted Thu June 1, 2006:
Must have been a bad hail storm or the black birds were swarming again.

A visitor from United States posted Fri February 24, 2006:
Delta dirty? that is something Northwest Airlines is good at, sometimes the paint chips on their RJ85s or DC9s look like snow, kinda confusing for the deicing teams, hehe

A visitor from - posted Sun December 4, 2005:
Great photograph, but that's one dirty bird! Sell her to me and I'll clean her up--LOL!

A visitor from Germany posted Sun December 4, 2005:
Well, that's not wear and tear, that is abuse and negligence

Underneath all the grime still stands a pretty little bird.

A visitor from United States posted Sun November 13, 2005:
