Just found out this aircraft has been retired...apparently to Dothan, AL according to DLTERM
Yeah, just a badass workhorse...sure she's now neatly reapainted and carries the Delta negative space widget on the fin.
Dirty or clean, painted or not, the 757 is still the most graceful and noble plane ever made.
Like they always say, never judge someone by their looks
This bird has certainly been working hard since it was made in 1990.
She reminds me of the donna summer song "she works hard for the money"
Looks great after all she's been through!!!
What a great, hard working machine. Most always the scruffy ones & the ugly ducklings in the fleet go the best!!
She's still flying and in new colors now
Looks quite awesome cause the severe damage on the paint
Gives her charactor though, that is for sure. Some airlines invest heavily in maintenance in sacrifice for looks.
Wow! She looks tired! This was taken in '04... I wonder if she's still in service? Then again, fresh coat of paint and she'd look good as new.
It really needs a good painting! Shame on Delta Airlines. And I can't bear Americans who criticize Air France without checking their own Airlines!
Omg love this hard working machine!!! DOES ANY BODY KNOW HOW OLD IS THE Boeing 757-232?
Poor thing, must have worked really hard!
Great! | |
Paint isn't matter as long as good maintenance on aircraft happens. but i only gave 3 star because i want a nicer paint job.
I can take it if someone don't want it
You should see some of Uniteds Planes that look far worse than this...
Looks like the space shuttle after re-entry.
Pic brings out the 757's true beauty, even without makeup. delta?? At least she flies.
They must be waiting for the scheduled repaint in the new livery... logically you wouldn't repaint a plane in the old colour scheme just to make it look good... but i feel for that pooooor 757... shame on you delta!
Her makeup is a little bit off, but i'd still beg her to go out with me! OM5
Hail storm scratches I think. .
Poor 757... i would hate to see NW planes end up like this :(
A hard working horse for sure! Looks better than any airbus man.
Airbus is way beter than any Boeing aircraft in the world!
Wow ! Who was talking about Air France ? This plane really needs a paint job ... Very dirty ! POor 757 ! Delta , you have to paint it !
No my friend! It doesn't look better than the best looking airbus!
Probably just getting repainted soon w/ new scheme.
Hard working girl! | |
And yet it still looks better than the best-looking Airbus . . .
Must be a codeshare with AF.
I have never seen delta airlines planes look that bad. this might have to do with delta loosing alot of money
This 75 looks like it brings it's lunch pail to work everyday, nice shot
"she works hard for the money..."
I'll fly in it as long as the engines are running fine
Final destination material me thinks
I think a good wash and a new paint job is long overdue :P
Poor 757, shame on Delta.
Looks like she's been in a fight , still the best looking nose out there! Hail or rain damage me thinks , the radomme looks to be new and the rest of the paint ain't too bad !
OMG! I would not be surprised if passengers refuse to fly with that bird! Poor 757! Shame on Delta!
I love that this photo shows the "True Grit" of aviation, its not all pretty megaliner roll outs!
I work at an aircraft paintshop at Schiphol and this one sure needs to visit one! Not the one where I work though, we can't get it in, it's too big :P
Reminds me on myself, nice picture. Cheers mate
This bird neads really a paint job
This bird needs a good painting. don't ya think?
Ou can see shes real work horse! Delta need to show some love! like BA! lol
Hate to think what the inside was like. Nice shot
Such a shame - the 75 is such a lovely looking aircraft. Says a lot about Delta, methinks.
Lovely shot, really reminds me of the Delta bird that crashed into the terminal (you know, the famous picure)...
Mangy is right! Looks like a junkyard dog
WOW you would think that Delta, the worlds Greatest airline (in my oppinion) would keep up thee planes a bit better than that. Oh well, at least its not an airbus LOL nice shot!
Must have been a bad hail storm or the black birds were swarming again.
Delta dirty? that is something Northwest Airlines is good at, sometimes the paint chips on their RJ85s or DC9s look like snow, kinda confusing for the deicing teams, hehe
Great photograph, but that's one dirty bird! Sell her to me and I'll clean her up--LOL!
Well, that's not wear and tear, that is abuse and negligence
Need a Paint job | |
Underneath all the grime still stands a pretty little bird.
That's the dirtiest bird I have ever seen in Delta's fleet. 5 stars for the shot, but she needs some love!
It is graet to see how wear and tear affect aircraft.
