This is my favorite livery ever on my favorite plane ever!
Terrific capture, but to the person who said that Delta should never change its livery again, I must disagree. As a lifelong Atlanta resident, and member of a Delta family, I long for the old widget livery. That was quite possibly the best livery on any aircraft. Though aside from a reversion back to the old widget, I do agree completely with you.
Thanks all for the comments. For those asking why flaps remained extended: operators occasionally do this if an inspection of some sort is due that requires the flaps to remain extended. It's just easier on the ground crews because otherwise they would have to apply hydraulic power to the aircraft to get them unstowed. It just saves time.
I've been on IAD-JNB a few times, 15 1/2 hrs, but always had to stop in Dakar on the way back. Pretty awesome that they are doing it nonstop on the westbound now. Wonder why the flaps are still down...
Wow. what a plane! | |
Delta Airlines should never change its livery again! It's awesome and certainly the most suitable livery for a T7! Great angle!
I love the angle! This is a great shot! Also, one of the better phtographer comments I've seen to date. You've got to love little informative tid-bits like that! All around, this is an excellent contribution! Well done!
Love the size of the 777 compared to its surroundings. Why no flap retraction though, they are clearly still extended at the gate...
Very clear and crisp photo! Really deserves more than 5 stars!
I flew out on the 737 beside the 777 to Indianapolis in November. It was great to fly from the international wing on a domestic flight. The 777 beside us was getting ready for Dubai. Great photo!
Nice light on this 77L. | |
