To clarify the situation for some viewers - these helicopters are owned by the US Dept of State and operated on their behalf by Dyn Corp contractors (overseen by State Dept supervisors). They are used to protect poppy eradication teams on the ground in Afghanistan. Ex US Army 68-15622.

It brings back everything I remember about the aircraft, from flying in one, sling loads, to areal gunnery.

Although the chopper type is different however, it reminds me the film Black Hawk Down. (Ali Aminzadeh)

I wonder in what kind of plane the photographer was... you'd think it'd better be another Huey like this one than a cessna... as the poppy owners will not be too happy with these visitors.

I always think of the song "Fortunate song" when I see a Huey... Unique angle definitely
