DMO125 suffered radom disintegration approximately one hour before arrival to UHHH. Cause is unclear at the moment. Close view of damaged nose. Pieces of radom also damaged No.3 engine. Pilots didn't declare an emergency, because all airplane systems worked well.

All systems worked well??? I doubt that radar worked fully in this state.
You must mean "all vital systems worked" :-)

Aren't the pilots lucky! A few inches higher and they might have been sucked out of the cockpit by an explosive decompression! And I can't imagine the weather radar was working, the pilot probably had no idea of the extent of the damage and that's why no emergency was declared.

Hmmm.. Gremlins? Some kind of freak meteorite hit? hope they can repair it, sad to see an IL-62 go.

Now we know!
The radome was damaged by statics firstly. Then airflow finished this dirty work.
About "all system worked well" - I forgot to add "as the crew said" :-)
