5A-DGK (cn 45300/101) This fuselage was displayed on Frankfurt’s observation deck from 1985 to 2006. Seen here two weeks before the remaining part of the terrace was definitively closed on December 26, 2005. The DC-8 left Frankfurt on March 23, 2006 and is now preserved at the closed Griesheim airfield near Darmstadt where a new aviation museum is being set up. [Fuji slide]
