The East German Fulcrums were less than 2 years old in 1990. They were still based at the 'secret' base at Preschen close to the Polish border. Number 785 became 2920 in the Luftwaffe and finally 4121 in the Polish air force.

In my oppinion this is the best color scheme of the MiG-29. It looks great with this GDR camouflage, the red tactical number and these black part in front of the canopy. Much better than the later gray of the Luftwaffe.
