VH-EWQ (cn 10539) East-West imported two F27-500F to Australia to take over the SYD-NLK-SYD route from QF who used DC4s. Unfortunately these two F27s were unable to be used due to customs import/export resrictions and they sat on the tarmac at TMW for a while until that was resolved. VH-EWN and VH-EWO operated SYDNLKSYD in the meantime.
