Aviation Photo #1767728
Douglas DC-7B - Eastern Air Lines (Historical Flight Foundation)

This DC-7 cabin is fitted with seats that came from a Northwest Airlines DC10 because the original 1958 DC-7 seats don't meet the current safety standards and this plane needed to be certified as airworthy. It is the only airworthy, passenger-configured DC-7 left. There was some talk of redesigning the original seats to conform to current standards and at least maintain the original look - but that project will take time.
