Moments after sliding to a stop, the first passengers start sliding down the evacuation slide as fire rescue workers arrive on scene to assist. EA flight 274 was on a PBI-ATL-STL routing when the crew noticed a malfunction in the nose gear after takeoff from PBI. They diverted into MIA because of EA's extensive maintenance facilities. Capt. Wayne Nolan pilot in command. Another blast from the past as they say on the oldie radio stations.
