4X-ATX (cn 20122/807) Altough their numbers were already on the decrease, Boeing 707's in pax configuration were still a regular sight during the mid and late 1980's. El Al was one of the carriers that still used the type on their passenger services during that time. 4X-ATX remained in the fleet until 1987, after which Arkia continued to operate it for seven more years. It was sold to Zaire as 9Q-CVG in 1994, and permanently withdrawn from use in early 1998. It finally met the breaker's axe at Kinshasa during 2001.
