A visitor from United States posted Sat June 3, 2006: That object which is mounted on the windscreen is a "heated ice plate". It allows the pilot to have forward visability in the event a coating if ice builds up on the windscreen when OAT's go negative. Great shot Mariusz!!
A visitor from Peru posted Sat June 3, 2006: It's a heating device I supposse. I've flown similar aircraft when I started my career, and that's where the pilot would have to look through in case of icing limiting your visibility.
