A visitor from United States posted Fri May 11, 2012: Great photo. I was on that airplane during ABACE in Shanghai the next month. The plastic is there to keep the carpet clean during static displays at an air show.
A visitor from United States posted Fri May 11, 2012: That plastic is a new scotchguarding technique. Gets sprayed on. Works quite well. Kidding kidding it's just some plastic to keep the carpet clean with everyone walking through the aircraft. Great looking interior by the way.

A visitor from - posted Fri May 11, 2012: The plastic is laid down because the plane is being displayed to the public at an airshow in Singapore (Jackie Chan's private jet was there too). Basically they don't want plebs' footsteps all over their dry-cleaned carpet.
