The shot is timed to perfection, this monster of a plane is gliding onto the runway with the smooth grace of a swan, the bright sun shining off its wings. Incredible.

It is a great photograph, for it shows all parts of the plane at the same time. Also it shows how big the plane is, for we could compare it with anything in the ground. Sunlight helps the photo looks vivid.

I like the way it shows the double decks. I would like to know more about the winglets , and their ability to channel air off the main wings.
This photo shows the landing wheels with the leading tires pointing down , as opposed to a 747's pointing up . I imagine it makes for a smoother landing .

I am amazed at the airline technology these days. Even a few years ago I never imagined anyone would come up with such a big airliner. In my opinion, the bigger the airplanes the better!

The reflection of the advancement of technological flight is captured in the photo as the A380 behemoth is being safely guided down to terra firma by the latest in flight advancements in the commercial passenger industry. The accomplishments that have been achieved with the completion of this tehno wonder is a unifying accomplishment by the co-operation of those who took part in the creation of this wonder. When looking at the windows of the flight area, ones' mind is captured by the fact that a human being is at the controls of this grand machine.

Congratulations to the photographer, for an outstanding picture. The image is sharp and the colours are realistic. The photographer shot this picture from a very good angle; he managed to give a good profile of the aircraft.

Good colors!
Anonymous
Background is very Emirates-ish.
Gray sky works well behind (ubiquitous) all-white aircraft.
Tail logo is a nice off-center punch of color.
Wheels look a bit ragtag, but better that than gear-up, I suppose.

Excellent background setting, allowing for a clear full view of the entire aircraft.

A huge aircraft like the A380, about to land, it was the distance between the aircraft and the runway that made it great, this is only a matter of seconds to get an opportunity like this, and shoot.

Though aircraft is moving at high speed there is no flicker in photo. also complete aircraft is successfully captured and offering clear view at every corner.

Somehow it conveys the technological power and know-how behind this aircraft which conjures the ability of mankind to subordinate the indomitable forces of nature, within a well thought scientific structure.

I have flown on the A380 last year from Singapore to London and I have to say it was the most amazing experience. We had 120mph head winds (that would be blowing a 747 all over the sky) and there were no turbulence for the whole 14 hours of the flight. It felt like we were still on the tarmac when we were cruising at 39,000ft! The technology and in flight entertainment was fantastic and the cabin felt large and very spacious. In economy I could stretch my legs out fully under the seat in front of me and there was also enough room for me to turn on my side to sleep! (I am 6 feet tall). When I'm travelling long haul in the future, the ONLY plane I want to fly on is the A380.

Appears cumbersome. Travelers wan to fly something that "looks right". The plan appears disproportionately large to the engines, etc. Not a technical comment as I know the engines have plenty of thrust. However, your Auntie might want to get on something that looks like it cannot fly.
