A visitor from United States posted Mon February 26, 2007:
The backlight by the moon creating creates a visually stunning shadow, broken by the landing lights and enhanced by the moon's color. The engine exhaust smearing the lower edge of the moon is unlike most any night photo.

A visitor from Greece posted Tue December 6, 2005:
Science Fictionaly Exotic!!! The only words that I would dare speak to the photographer (apart from the common but true "well done") are from a timely popular Greek song, composed by Manos Hadjidakis back in 1962: "Throw away the sorrow lad, Let's take a walk on the Moon". Steve, I'm sure you got on the Moon even if it was just for an instant and the best is that you took me with you when I saw this wonderful picture. Thank You from the depths of my Heart.

A visitor from France posted Tue December 6, 2005:
I am amazed by the details on the moon, by its clarity and by its size. Additionally, catching the outlines of an aircraft passing by it is like putting the cherry on the cake. Awesome job Mr.Morris. brgds / (gp)

A visitor from Singapore posted Tue December 6, 2005:
This photo looks quite dark. But anyway, excellent exhaust gases from the Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines blurring the moon.

A visitor from United States posted Tue December 6, 2005:
Unbelievable

A visitor from Costa Rica posted Tue December 6, 2005:
There's this mysticism surrounding the shot that makes it even more stunning!

A visitor from United States posted Tue December 6, 2005:
Nice

A visitor from Singapore posted Tue December 6, 2005:
The landing gear lights are so clear on this photo...

A visitor from United States posted Tue December 6, 2005:
If there was a way that I could rate this shot any higher I would! 5 stars does not do this shot any justice! I guess the most interesting aspect of this shot (out of many) is the spooky look that the outline of the a/c gives against the moonlit backdrop! Would've really been something had it been taken 2 1/2 weeks earlier (Halloween in other words)!

A visitor from United States posted Tue December 6, 2005:
Superb!!!!! My favourite effect is the moonlight being refracted by the hot exhaust gases from the engines..are they RR engines????....
also, in my opinion the A330 is the best allround aircraft..due to its economy, size, technology and best of all sleek design....
This is why a rank ths pic so high!!!

A visitor from Mexico posted Tue December 6, 2005:
