Lovely overview! All those concrete and metal down there in the midst of the sands and not a patch of green anywhere, except maybe that golf course. Perfect example of industrialization!

Great and unique shot. You can only get such clarity a few months a year. It's also pretty rare (at least for me) to fly by with the Burj Khalifa area to the right since the airport is on the far side of the photo.

One in a million pic...the city looks like a miniature super hich tech model toy town...but the plane's wings need some cleaning..gr8 pic

That is amazing photo! You can even see Sharjah! The creek, Deira, Dubai, the WTC on Sheik Al Zahed. Truly impressive. I have never seen it with such clarity. It is such a shame I usually fly out of DXB at night..

What a spectacular Landscape. The Buj Tower seems really small at this height.
