Great shot from a beautiful aircraft. Dubai seen from the air always strikes me as so surreal.

Crisp... good job... dirty plane!!! If it weren't for the winglet, i would ve thought this was an Air France airliner.

Wow, what a great shot. Captures the city out of the desert well, along with the wingtip of the airline that put it on the map. Amazing shot!

What's truly amazing with this picture, is the ultimate visibility at hand at the time of its taking. Some folks seem to be quite confused though, about the structure of the city state of Dubai: the airport DXB (really close to the old city centre, and new developments like the Palm/Marina are NOT in this picture. Many buildings are lined up along the Zayed road, which will take you all the way to AUH, 120 km or so away.

What's so beautiful on a city that looks like having been hit by a hurricane ?

Simply stunning! The colors of the city in this photo are just amazing - I don't think I can find the right word to describe it.

The closest thing on Planet Earth to "Corruscant" (the city-planet for all you Star Wars challenged folks out there!)
