Impressive. I'm still dreaming of flying that way, the emirate way, quite an amazing service as far as I can see.

This is truly a first class picture; Emirates has their act together. I'm ready to go!!!!

The wood is so gharish and the cabin is so grey.

Tacky for Emirates

Welcome to Trump Airlines. Some great ideas there but geez...how tasteless. Ta-cky!

It does remind me a bit of older person's Cadillac, which is to say, comfortable, but awfully drab and a little too gimmicky with its acres of fake wood. The shiny gold trim is utterly over the top and doesn't say 'class' so much as it screams 'cheap and tawdry'. Also, I don't necessarily understand the combination of expensive lobster teamed up with twix candy bars. But then I don't fly first class either, so what do I know?

This could be a little bit more 'romantic' if it were double...

First of all, you're not looking at fake wood. It is the same comment as Mercedes S-Class having fake wood... yeah right. Secondly, these looks are not for everyone... personally, I would not like to have my house or car designed, but it does feel homey, which is something customers will appreciate. I spend 220.000 miles in the air every year - and yes, this type of seat and design is neat... not for 24x7, but for regular fliers... yep, it is good.

Only at arabian airlines you can see light of false gold and wood everywhere with cheap Snickers

In responds to the comment below about the "fake wood".

It is really fake, the procedure used (with all aircraft interiours) is a honeycomb structure with a foil applied to give it the "look" in this case wood.

To me it also looks tacky especially together with the fake gold.

Meh, I like it, for the couple of hours one spends on board a plane I think it's fun to experience different designs, as long as it's comfy and not depressing lol.
And I don't think it looks cheap, I guess they want to fulfill their customers expectations of an arab airline.
