Wow. Amazing. Like the previous person said, why are there 5 contrails?
Ones from the Aux power unit?
But its coming from somewhere below the plane

Left of #3 can be seen the reflection of the clouds and the blue sky. Are the clouds below providing the needed illumination?

King of Skies

A visitor from United States posted Thu June 25, 2009:
So, I'm a nerd and saw this when it had only 500 hits. Now, I'll chime in. Great shot. Nothing like capturing a heavy just above you, with a contrail. This will indeed be a classic shot.

A visitor from - posted Thu June 25, 2009:

A visitor from France posted Thu June 25, 2009:
Wow, are you spotting with a telescope? Astonishing picture, one of the best of the A380 in my view. I find that the bit of dirty marks under the fuselage accentuates the mighty flying beast sight!

Just......STUNNING!!

A visitor from United States posted Thu June 25, 2009:
What makes this a great shot is the contrast of the plane against the dark sky. It has the look of being hit with a spot light from below, plus the clarity is superb.
